Our DIY Unwrapped spiral ties arrive unwrapped (without the string applied) and they are ready to use. You can use them as is or add the included string. You can see our easy tutorial here.   

Spiral ties are hand made thus each one is unique and will vary tie to tie. That means that no two ties are the same due to wrapping techniques. Threading may also vary but will always be within the same color family as pictured on the product shot.

Spiral Ties help reduce the tension that traditional hair ties cause on your hair. No more headaches after a long day of wearing a hair tie. They also reduce breakage that hair ties cause upon removal. Spiral Ties are a bendable wire layered in fabric.

Spiral ties are great for locs, natural hair and protective styles! For a secure hold, your Spiral Ties should wrap around your hair at least 3 times.

The longer the length the more times you can wrap. If you are in between lengths choose the longer length.

If your locs are shoulder length or longer, you can use the 22” spiral tie to style in pig tails, bantu knots, space buns, half up/half down styles and more.
